In May 2013, Premier acquired the Manhattan and Super C brands which included the Johannesburg manufacturing facility, and in June 2021 Premier acquired the Mister Sweet operations.
These facilities have capability to produce marshmallows, gums, jellies, compressed sweets, chews, panned chews, panned chocolate and more recently hard boiled candy and pops in a wide range of pack formats. In addition, the plant has a blending and packing facility for fine powders such as baking powder, custard, corn flour and other fine powders including bicarbonate of soda, icing sugar and castor sugar. The modern facilities are FSC 22000 certified and have an on-site raw material and finished goods warehouse.
